All of our mesh bags, including this item are made from polypropylene. There are multiple benefits to polypropylene over polyethylene. The two biggest benefits as it relates to our bags is polypropylene is a recyclable plastic and is less susceptible to UV radiation than polyethylene. Polypropylene is also lighter and more resistant to high temperatures, abrasive agents and chemical solvents.
