If the grinding wheel becomes glazed or greasy from use, it should be dressed with a dressing stone, not cleaned with a solvent. The dressing process with expose new abrasive. All Oregon and Tecomec grinders are furnished with a dressing stone and dressing gauge for this purpose. Replacement stones are also available separately.
