These bags are not biodegradable and should not be burned either. They should be recycled or collected for reuse. All of our mesh firewood bags are made of polypropylene, a #5 recyclable thermoplastic. The labelled firewood and kindling bags include the familiar recycling symbol on the label of each bag for easy identification.
